Fans of the Fighting-type Hariyama in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will doubtless adore the Paradox variation of their favorite pocket monster — Iron Hands. Besides looking like a stylish robotic version of Hariyama, Iron Hands possesses other distant characteristics that differentiate it from its default form. First, this Paradox pocket monster is a dual-type creature equipped with Fighting- and Electric-type elements. Moreover, Makuhita evolves into Hariyama after reaching Level 24, but Iron Hands does not have a Paradox variant of Makuhita in its family. Thirdly, Iron Hands is notably more powerful than Hariyama, making it a choice combatant for high-level Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Finding Iron Hands in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To catch Iron Hands in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must enter the postgame zone known as Area Zero, which becomes accessible once players have cleared the three story paths in the game. These paths include Victory Road with the Gym Leaders, Path of Legends with the Titans, and Starfall Street with Star Bosses.

Completing all three paths will grant players access to The Way Home story path, during which Trainers will be able to unlock Area Zero and explore its mysterious zones for themselves. Once fans have free-roam access to Area Zero, they must head to Research Station No. 1 and search around the spot under the first tree along the sloping path. According to YouTuber 100% Guides, there is a high likelihood that Iron Hands will spawn near this tree and wander the area. If players are struggling to find this Paradox Pokémon, then eating a Master Klawf Claw Sandwich or Ultra Tofu Sandwich will increase their chances of encountering this rare creature. Keep in mind that Iron Hands will only appear exclusively for Violet users.
As a Fighting- and Electric-type Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Iron Hands is vulnerable to Ground-, Psychic-, and Fairy-type attacks. Psychic- and Fairy-type Gardevoir and Ground-type Hippowdon would make excellent counters for easily weakening Iron Hands in combat. Once the Paradox Pokémon’s HP is low enough, Trainers can attempt catching the pocket monster with their Ultra Balls. Iron Hands possesses high HP, Atk, and Def, making it a fantastic all-rounder fighter for endgame Tera Raid Battles.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
