This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

It’s that time in Warframe again when you have to disrupt the Grineer’s space projects, namely the Balor Fomorian battleship. To do this, you need some kind of ticket in the form of the Fomorian Disruptor, and to craft the Fomorian Disruptor, you need Omega Isotopes. We’re here to guide you on where to farm Omega Isotope in Warframe.

The Omega Isotope resource in Warframe typically drops in mission locations on planets affected by the Balor Fomorian. In this case, you can refer to the image above indicating that the Balor Fomorian ship and mission is on Earth. This might change when the event happens again sometime in the near future, and we’ll update this Warframe Omega Isotope guide to reflect those changes if ever.

For now, just head to Earth. You can partake in the following mission types for a chance to obtain Omega Isotopes.

  • Or typically any non-Archwing mission on the affected planet
  • Dark Sectors
  • Invasions
  • Syndicate Alerts

The easiest and most productive out of all those three mission types would be Dark Sector as those are usually just in static locations. Moreover, Dark Sectors in Warframe have increased resource drop chance. In this event’s duration, the Dark Sectors on Earth where you can farm Omega Isotope would be the following two locations.

  • Tikal (Excavation)
  • Coba (Defense)

Invasions change too frequently to be a consistent farming spot and the same goes for Syndicate Alerts. Other normal mission types don’t offer increased rewards.

Of those two Dark Sector locations we mentioned, Coba would be easier but slower since it’s a Defense mission while Excavation in Tikal could be faster but more prone to failure especially if you’re with a low-level public group.

Take note that you might need to replay those farming spots since the drop chance for the Omega Isotope is random; it’s an uncommon resource. Moreover, you need four Omega Isotopes if you want to craft a Fomorian Disruptor which, by the way, will be consumed for every attempt on the Balor Fomorian mission.

If you want the reward (200,000 Credits + Orokin Catalyst), you need to deal a total of 1,000,000 damage. Hence, continued efforts with other players in assaulting the Balor Fomorian battleship will ensure a faster drop in the Fomorian Integrity percentage which will help you receive the rewards faster. There’s also a time limit for the whole Balor Fomorian event mission to keep in mind though it’s usually generous. Get to farming, Tenno.

Warframe is available on PlayStation, Pc, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
