One of the things we loved the most about Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom was its puzzles, such as the one in the Goddess’ Rest area involving beacons and a lot of exploration. Those who want to learn more about the expansion’s lore and earn a great armor piece will have to delve into the jungle, light a few beacons up, and enter Lydusa’s former temple. While it is all easier said than done, we’ve made a guide to help you find the beacons across this jungle full of dangers.
Remnant 2: All Beacons Locations at Goddess’ Rest
You must find five beacons at Goddess’ Rest if you want to open Lydusa’s temple in Remnant 2. After playing the DLC several times, we realized this is one of the largest areas, and with good reason. It has several secrets and items to find, and this puzzle takes you to small locations around Lydusa’s former home. Below are the locations of each beacon.
First Beacon
This is the easiest one to find. As you traverse the area normally, you’ll encounter the first pillar overlooking the temple at a distance. You have to interact with it to light it up. You can confirm you interacted with it correctly by waiting a bit and looking at one of the braziers of the temple light up. Furthermore, once you reach the checkpoint outside the temple, you can see a door with Lydusa’s face and five round spots; one should be lit up.
Second Beacon
If you’re looking at the front of the door, you must turn right and climb the stairs next to Lydusa’s door. You’ll encounter a few normal and elite enemies on the way and the beacon on top of a small terrace. Once you light it up, the second circle on the door will illuminate.
Third Beacon
The third one is a bit tricky. You must return to Lydusa’s door and head left. When you face the bridge, don’t cross it. Instead, turn right and enter the elevator on the side of the temple. Follow the path until you reach an area with a river. Advance through the river until the end, and you’ll find the beacon at a high spot with a waterfall. Fourth and Fifth Beacons
The final beacons at Goddess’ Rest in Remnant 2 are together, which makes them easy to reach. You must return to the bridge we mentioned in the third beacon and cross it this time. You’ll reach an open area with a flight of stairs to the left and a building in front of you. Climb the stairs to reach the fourth beacon and follow the path in front of you to reach the final one. After that, return to Lydusa’s door to enter the temple.
Goddess’ Rest Rewards
After opening the temple, you can fight the Bloodless Heir by interacting with the bowl. If you manage to beat it, you’ll get the Bloodless Crown. Furthermore, the bowl asks you to put something inside it, but at the time of writing, we’ve yet to find the necessary item.
Still, it is a great area to explore, full of lore details and many secret rooms that lead to rare items and some shocking discoveries. Also, remember each dungeon has a different layout, so chances are you’ll get a different layout when searching the beacons. However, we hope those with the same world as ours can find all beacons fast.
