Want to know where to find Azumarill in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? As you travel through the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll encounter hundreds of new Gen 9 Pokémon that you’ll want to get your hands on. But at the same time, do not forget about the old Pokemon that came to Scarlet and Violet from previous games in the series, and Azumarill is one of them. Cute oval and always smiling, Azumarill will be a great member of your team. After all, being a Water and Fairy-type Pokemon, it has resistance to Fire, Water, Ice, Fighting, Bug, and Dark-type moves, and Dragon-type attacks will not cause any damage to it at all. But first of all, you must find Azumarill in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and our guide will help you with this.

Where to Find Azumarill in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

First of all, it’s worth noting that Azumarill is quite an old Pokémon that has appeared in many previous games in the series, but you shouldn’t underestimate it. The appearance of this Pokemon is deceiving, and although it looks like a plush toy, it is a real dragon slayer. Dragon-type moves will not deal any damage to Azumarill. At the same time, Azumarill’s attacks are quite effective against dragons. In addition, finding and catching this Pokémon is pretty easy, so you don’t have to protract with it.

To find Azumarill in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must travel to the northwestern part of the game map and visit Casseroya Lake. Azumarill doesn’t spawn very often, so you’ll have to wander around the coast a bit. In addition, you can take a boat and swim in the lake, as Azumarill can be in the water. You can also encounter the new Pokémon Veluza here.

It is worth noting that the average level of Pokémon Casseroya Lake is about 50, and you should be ready for it. Also, since Azumarill is a Water and Fairy-type Pokémon, it is weak against Grass, Electric, and Poison-type moves. So use Pokemon with the appropriate attacks to win faster.

How to Evolve Marill into Azumarill in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If your Pokémon team is too weak to catch Azumarill, you can get it through evolution. To do this, you must capture Marill and level him up to 18.

Unlike Azumarill, you don’t have to go too far to find Marill. All you have to do is take a walk along the Levincia coast or explore the area around Los Platos.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
