Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is home to several charming, dangerous, and unique Pokémon. The open-world nature of the Paldea region allows for rich exploration to stumble upon all of these creatures roaming about. One of those is Shroodle, a tiny, yet potentially deadly, Pokémon. This critter doesn’t look like much, but watch out for those sharp, poisonous front teeth. If you still want to catch one, our guide will show you how to find Shroodle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Find and Catch Shroodle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Many of the Pokémon in the game are easy to spot. Some, however, tend to blend into their surroundings or are just too to initially see. So, it’s no surprise if you don’t catch Shroodle at first in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This Poison/Normal-type Pokémon is small and tends to lurk. Because of that, they don’t exactly advertise their position.
Still, there are ways that you can find and catch Shroodle without much trouble in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
First off, consider the environment. Shroodle is a forest-dwelling Pokémon, so they like to hang out around trees. It’s true that they can spawn around almost any tree in their habitat areas, they tend to mostly be around trees with Grafaiai markings on them. So, keep a lookout for those.
More specifically, you can find a Shroodle to catch in these areas in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:
- Los Platos (north)
- Tagtree Thicket
- East Province (Area Two)
- South Province (Areas Three and Four)

Shroodle isn’t a tough one to catch once you find them. Like many beginning Pokémon, they’re not overly powerful. Still, they can serve you well in your starter encounters. Check out their stats below:
- HP: 40
- Attack: 60
- Defense: 35
- Special Attack: 40
- Special Defense: 35
- Speed: 75
With Shroodle in hand, you can soon work on evolving it to the stronger, faster, and larger Grafaiai. There is no need to count steps in this case. Shroodle will instead evolve once you reach Level 28. Despite its initial stage not being the strongest out there, Shroodle is worthwhile to catch in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They’re good if you need a companion with Poison moves.
