Want to know where to find Dammon in Baldur’s Gate 3? As you progress through the story of Baldur’s Gate 3, you will meet many unique NPCs, but thanks to the non-linear storyline, they can become both your friends and enemies. So, if you want to romance Karlach and complete The Hellion’s Heart companion quest, you should befriend Dammon. This Tiefling is one of the best blacksmiths in the Forgotten Realms and one of the few who can work with Infernal Iron. He is probably the only one who can fix Karlach’s heart.

First Encounter With the Dammon in BG3 – Emerald Grove First Act

Your first encounter with Dammon will occur shortly after you start your adventures in the northwestern part of Emerald Grove. But this is only possible after you have recruited Karlach as your companion and collected some Infernal Iron. As we said earlier, Dammon is an excellent blacksmith and can cool down the heat of hell engine a bit with Infernal Iron. So you can find it on the map once you accept The Hellion’s Heart quest.

It is worth noting that your meeting with Dammon in the first act is not guaranteed. For example, if you recruit Karlach after visiting the goblin camp, there is a high chance that Dammon and the other Tieflings have left Druid Grove, and you won’t be able to complete the companion quest. However, if you hurry, you can find this character at work when all the Tieflings have almost left the Grove. He’s a little late and can help you.

By the way, if you still meet with Dammon and he cools down Karlach, he will also offer to meet with him later so that he can find a solution to her problem. In addition, you can go the other way. After all, if you side with Minthara, Dammon will die, and this storyline will end before it even starts.

If Karlach is still part of your team, you should stock up on some Infernal Iron before visiting this master. A new batch of valuable material will help him continue repairing your companion’s heart.
