Fishing is used to find Princess Trout in Final Fantasy XIV

Those leveling up the Fisher class in Final Fantasy will have to complete a quest called The Princess and The Fisher. This quest will require players to bring Princess Trout to Sisipu.

The locations for Princess Trout are as follows:

  • Middle La Noscea, Nym River, X: 17, Y: 14
  • Middle La Noscea, Rogue River, X: 21, Y: 21
  • Lower La Noscea, The Mourning Widow, X: 24, Y: 23
  • Middle La Noscea, West Agelyss River, X: 20, Y: 17

The moth pupa serves as excellent bait for Princess Trout. To find Princess Trout in Final Fantasy XIV, take the moth pupa to any one of the above locations and start fishing, and you will catch Princess Trout in no time!

Aside from being used as a quest item to level up your Fisher class, Princess Trout also serves as a crafting item and can be used to craft Grilled Trout and Fish oil.
