The Scuba Gas Mask in DMZ is a new gear added with Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 5. This gear double works as a Rebreather and Gas Mask, which makes it very useful. If you find this item, you’re good to go in the radiation zone and stay underwater for a long amount of time. However, do you know where to find this thing? Let’s find out in this full, in-depth breakdown.

Scuba Gas Mask can be found on all DMZ maps as ground loot. In fact, you can find this item anywhere on Ashika Island, Al Mazrah, and Vondel. However, you may have a better chance of finding a Scuba Gas Mask in gas stations, Strongholds, and restricted areas that require a key to open.

It’s good to know that this mask is nearly on the same level as a Durable Gas Mask when you use it in the radiation zone. And it’s much better than a Rebreather for staying underwater. So if you’re running a mission like Dark Waters or want to enter the Koschei Complex from the Taraq Village entrance, this mask is your best friend.

All of that aside, do you want an ultimate 100% guaranteed way to acquire a Scuba Gas Mask in DMZ? Then, you need to spend some CPs and buy the War Hound bundle. The developers introduced the sort or “Pay to Win” style of bundles in DMZ two Seasons ago. And now there’s a bundle available for you to get a Scuba Gas Mask right off the bat.

By purchasing this bundle, you’ll get weapon blueprints, a Zero operator skin with a little puppy on his shoulder, and a Scuba Gas Mask. However, this mask will only be available at the start of each match, if your mask slot is empty. If you have a regular or Durable Gas Mask already in your gear, the Scuba won’t show up.

Warzone 2 and MW2 are currently available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
