Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has delivered a prehistoric theme to the battle royale’s map, with the addition of a jungle biome and rideable raptors. However, the season still provides a collection of sci-fi weapons, such as the destructive Cybertron Cannon. Thanks to a new Transformers crossover, players can pick up the Mythic weapon in order to blast away opponents with just a press of a button. That said, it is arguably one of the hardest items to get in Season 3. Here’s where to find the Cybertron Cannon and how to use it in Fortnite.

Despite being a Mythic weapon, the Cybertron Cannon is not guaranteed to spawn in a specific location each match. Instead, you only have a chance to find a Cybertron Cannon in Fortnite simply by searching chests or discovering it as ground loot. Keep in mind there tends to be more ground loot in named locations. So, it is worth exploring larger POIs, such as The Citadel, Mega City, and Shattered Slabs.

It is also worth noting that the Cybertron Cannon can be found within Legendary Chests, which typically lie inside of vaults. For instance, the cannon has a high chance of spawning from the chests in the Rumble Ruins vault. As marked below, this vault is located in the middle of the ruins and is set on the bottom floor of its watchtower. Although, you must have an Epic-rarity weapon or greater in your inventory for its door to open. Once that’s done, the vault will provide you with three Legendary Chests and three regular chests.

What Does the Cybertron Cannon Do in Fortnite?

The Cybertron Cannon in Fortnite works much like the traditional Rocket Launcher. It comes packed with two laser beams, each capable of dealing up to 110 damage to all opponents in range. However, you won’t need to worry about searching crates for additional ammo. Upon firing the weapon, an extra beam will be rewarded after a 30-second cooldown. Most importantly, the cannon can even destroy all types of material it strikes. Thus, you can target the bottom of any enemy’s build just once to instantly blow it up.

Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
