It is important to know where to find the purveyor in Fallout 76. After all, she is an important NPC. This is due to her being the only trader in the game that sells Legendary Modules and legendary weapons. If you have a large pile of Scip burning a hole in your wasteland jumpsuit, Purveyor Murmrgh is the person you want to see. Her wares will keep you going when you need help in the wild wasteland of Appalachia. Just make sure to sell off your legendary gear when you have too much. Here is where you can find the Purveyor in Fallout 76.ย

Purveyor Location in Fallout 76

The Purveyor in Fallout 76 isn’t one of those NPCs you will just happen to come across in the game. She is fairly isolated, and unless you know where to look, you can easily just walk right past her location. Originally, Purveyor Murmrgh was located in Berkley Springs Station but picked up her gear and moved to an area called The Rusty Pick.

The Rusty Pick is easy to find once you start heading south to the Ash Heap section of the map. During the main campaign, you will need to go to Charleston Fire Department. During this time, if you head southwest, you will run into a small building with a large neon sign labeled “The Rust Pick.” The Purveyor can be found inside this building behind the counter.

How To Get Scrip in Fallout 76

Much like the numerous Gold Bullion vendors in Appalachia, the Purveyor uses a specific currency that is unique to her shop. This unique currency is called Scrip. If you hope to get anything from Purveyor Murmrgh’s shop, you will need a lot of this currency. Depending on the item you wish to purchase, you will be spending anywhere from 25 to 120 Scrip. Luckily, getting this currency is very simple.

You simply need to scrap legendary weapons and armor to get your hands on some Scrip. You’ve probably seen these large grinder machines outside the train stations. These machines are called legendary exchanges. Interacting with these machines will allow you to trade your legendary gear for Scrip. The higher-valued the legendary item is, the more Scrip you will get for it. Make sure to trade any legendary items you aren’t using to get as much Scrip as possible. You can also get Scrip by completing daily quests, ally quests, and the daily op.

Fallout 76 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
