An excellent Move to both heal your pocket monsters and bolster their Grass-type attacks in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is Grassy Terrain. This Move is perfect to use when facing Water-, Ground-, or Rock-type opponents, such as Quaquaval, Donphan, or Sudowoodo. Flabebe’s two evolutions, Floette and Florges, can learn Grassy Terrain inherently. Meowscarada, Smoliv, Dolliv, Arboliva, and Wo-Chien can also learn this Grass-type Move by leveling up. However, if you want to teach other Grass-type pocket monsters this particular Move, you will need to find the TM out in the open world. Fortunately, its location is not too far away from Mesagoza.
Finding Grassy Terrain TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To find the Grassy Terrain TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must investigate a tree in a grassy alcove near a river connected to the moat surrounding Mesagoza. You can find this alcove near an archway east of the South Province (Area Two) Pokécenter, south of the western bridge entrance of Mesagoza.

For further clarification, YouTuber GameLoc starts their search for the Grassy Terrain TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet at Mesagoza (West Gate). From here, they make their way down the nearby ridge steps to the moat below. They then travel along the dirt road southward near the water. Before arriving at the arch pathway mentioned above, they turn right into the alcove and examine the Poké Ball node beneath the tree to find the Grassy Terrain TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. There are other places to find this particular TM, but this spot near Mesagoza is definitely the most accessible and easiest to find.
If you want to craft the Grassy Terrain TM, you will need three pocket monster materials: Sunkern Leaf × 3, Flabébé Pollen × 3, and Fomantis Leaf × 3. Sunkern can be encountered around the meadows surrounding Los Platos. Similarly, Flabébé can be found in the fields north of Los Platos but also resides in the hills of Area Four of the South Province. Finally, Fomantis appears in the same meadows north of Los Platos. Collect three resources from each of these Pokémon to craft the Grassy Terrain TM at a TM Machine.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
