As we said earlier, Tube Coral is a rare material and grows quite deep. So, to get it, you will need a lot of preparation.

  • The first thing you need to do is to head over to Blue Hole Depths. This location starts at a depth of 130-135 meters. Be careful because there can be dangerous creatures on your way.
  • Next, you must find the tunnel that leads deeper (160 meters). The tunnel is easy to spot as it is guarded by Tubeworms.
  • After you find the right passage, do not hurry to enter it. The thing is that Tubeworms live in the tunnel. These creatures are hostile and cause damage upon contact with them. To pass through them, you will need UV Light.
  • When you find the UV Light go to the passageway. Once you get close to the Tubeworms, use the flashlight you found on them. Tubeworms will hide and open a passage. However, try to use UV Light sparingly as it drains quickly.
  • Descend to a depth of 180 meters and below. Look carefully at the underwater rocks because that is where Tube Coral grows.

Required Upgrades

The depths of the ocean are not a friendly place to explore. So you need to be prepared before you go looking for Tube Coral:

  • First, you need to upgrade your Air Tank to 264 Bar. It will allow you to dive and fish comfortably in deeper water. After all, deep water is home to some expensive fish.
  • Once you’ve upgraded your Air Tank, upgrade your Diving Suit to Lv.4. It will increase the allowable depth limit for diving.
  • Also, for safe diving, upgrade your Harpoon. One of the best upgrades for it is the shock effect. This enhancement allows the Harpoon to stun big and small fish, which will be helpful for deep diving and hunting in the late game.
  • Among other things, it will be nice to upgrade your inventory. The higher your inventory level, the more items you can carry.

Dave the Diver is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
