The Mistlands update of Valheim brought with it a new biome. Full of new things to discover with new dangers lurking behind each corner, it is now more essential than ever that players stock up on crafting materials for they are necessary for progression. Yggdrasil woods are one such item, required for crafting multiple important items in Valheim’s Mistlands update. In this guide, we are going to cover where to find Yggdrasil woods in Valheim.

Where To Find Yggdrasil Woods In Valheim

Mistlands are where players can find Yggdrasil woods in Valheim

Before players get around finding Yggdrasil woods in Valheim, they will need to get their hands on a relatively rare axe, the blackmetal axe. This axe is acquired in the Plains biome of the game for it is crafted through blackmetal ingots that Goblins that dwell in the Plains can drop. Players may begin their quest for Yggdrasil woods in Valheim only after they have acquired theblackmetal axe in the game.

Once Players have acquired the blackmetal axe, getting Yggdrasil woods is relatively simple. All that is required is cutting down the Yggdrasil trees found in abundance in the new Mistlands biome. These trees will drop Yggdrasil woods alongside normal woods, much like every other tree in the game.

This is all that it takes to get Yggdrasil woods in Valheim. As mentioned previously, Yggdrasil woods are an important material from the Mistlands update since they are required for crafting tons of items essential for progression such as the Black Forge, Galdr’s table and other important items. For anyone venturing into the Mistlands for the first time, we recommend taking some time off the good stuff and exploring and getting a good supply of items such as Yggdrasil woods for halting the acting and taking time off for grinding items later can really disrupt the flow of the game.

This concludes how to get Yggdrasil woods. For more guides, info, news, and updates, keep visiting The Nerd Stash!
