Everyone in need of rescue seems to be scattered around Moonrise Tower, but once you’ve rescued the Tieflings, you might wonder how to find Zevlor in Baldur’s Gate 3. Zevlor has disappeared despite having the challenging mission of protecting the refugee Tieflings from these cursed lands. As Baldur’s Gate 3 progresses, you will meet different NPCs with a story to tell. Depending on your attitude in the game, you will approve of some more than others. In this case, our mission will be to find Zevlor and help him continue shaping his story.

First, you must go to Moonrise Towers to defeat Ketheric Thorm for the first time in the closing of Act 2. Don’t waste time looking for Zevlor in Baldur’s Gate 3 if you haven’t completed the “Defeat Ketheric Thorm” quest first. When you take 75% of Ketheric Thorm’s life during the first encounter, a huge tentacle appears, and he escapes the battle scene.

You can’t afford to let him go once you get to this point in the battle. You have to find Ketheric Storm. Just to the right of the battlefield, you will see a hole that will be your entrance to the Mind Flayer Colony. Enter the Mind Flayer Colony and start investigating.

If you look at your map to the north, you will find a marker that tells you where Zevlor in Baldur’s Gate 3 is located. Once inside, go to the end of the room. On the right, you will find a control device with some options.

How to Rescue Zevlor in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Interact with the control device. If you choose the “Purge” option, you will kill all the NPCs that have been kidnapped and Mind Flayers, too. This, of course, includes Zevlor.

If you choose to release them, you will release all the NPCs, but some infiltrated Mind Flayers will be among them. You must join the battle with your team to defeat the Mind Flayers. Zevlor will also help you in this battle.

After defeating them, take advantage of this moment to speak with Zevlor. He will ask you about the Tieflings, his people. You can tell him to join his people despite the betrayal or start his life anew.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
