Baldur’s Gate 3 can be rather overwhelming at the start of the campaign. This goes for both the returning players and those who just got themselves into the vast universe of Larian’s masterpiece RPG. Before jumping into the Baldur’s Gate 3 campaign, there are a few tips and tricks you need to know, and this includes how to get the Sword of Justice. It is always good to have a weapon that will set you apart from your opponents and make grinding a bit easier, and Sword of Justice can do just that. Let’s see how you can get the Sword of Justice in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Where To Find the Sword of Justice in Baldur’s Gate 3
You will be able to get the Sword of Justice in Baldur’s Gate 3, just a short trip away from Druid’s Grove and Blighted Village. However, not all is as it seems, and you will need to make a tough decision that will influence your further progress.
Once you go past the Blighted Village, you will need to get across a broken bridge. Nevertheless, hyenas await your arrival, but you can avoid them easily just by going under the bridge. Your next stop is the former trading post, but now it is just a massacre point.
Here, you will find Anders, a Paladin of Tyr. He himself is on a quest to find a one-horned devil known as Karlach. Though you are no mercenary, you will receive an offer from Anders to find the devil yourself, and for your efforts, he will give you the praised Sword of Justice.
Finding Karlach is an easy task. Simply follow the stream below the trading post. Once you confront the devil, Karlach will tell a story of her innocence. You will get an option to believe Karlach or go ahead with the initial task from Anders and kill Karlach.

Karlach is a Zariel Tiefling with quite a few notorious skills that can come in handy later in the game. Furthermore, she has access to the Legacy of Avernus attacks. If you go with Karlach, you will fight Anders and still get the Sword of Justice. This fight also includes all other people in the outpost. Furthermore, killing Anders doesn’t break your oath if you are a Paladin. Anders is a fake Paladin, so we genuinely recommend siding with Karlach. Not only will you get the Sword of Justice, but you will also recruit Karlach, a powerful party member.
