Disney Dreamlight Valley is overflowing with areas to explore and things to do. One feature you’ll use often is cooking. Whether gifting to friends or consuming it yourself, this feature will ensure you’re always on the lookout for ingredients. One such ingredient you can find in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Clams. There are several uses for the delicious treat, so you’ll want to gather as many as possible.
How To Find Clams in Disney Dreamlight Valley
[Updated August 27, 2024 – included info on how to use Clams]
You can find Clams in Disney Dreamlight Valley largely the same way you’d find them in the real world: head toward the ocean. More specifically, the shore.
So, skip your way to Dazzle Beach and search around the seashore. You’re bound to come across Clams. They’re pink in color, so they’re easy to spot during the daytime. Searching at night isn’t advisable simply because of low visibility. It may take you some time to notice you’re standing over one.
Other than that, there’s no specific spawn time for Clams in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Dazzle Beach spawns roughly five Clams at a time. Once you gather them, wait for a short time and they should respawn.
How To Use The Seafood Ingredient
There are a few ways you can utilize Clams. The main ones include:
- Energy
- Selling
- Recipes
If you need a quick energy boost in Disney Dreamlight, you can always consume the Clams you find. It’ll give you about 120 energy. For some extra coins, sell Clams at Goofy’s Stall for 50 Star Coins. One of the most obvious uses for the seafood ingredient is in recipes. So far, only one recipe and two quest recipes specifically call for Clams:
- Recipe:
- Clam Juice: Clam | Tomatoes
- Quest Recipe:
- (Monstrously Good Taste) Gourmet Rot Dog: Clam | Milk | Wheat | Royal Hairball
- (Meddling Mirabel) Seashell Frame: x5 Clam | x5 Scallop | x8 Glass | x10 Softwood
If you purchased the premium pack “Ursula’s Transformation Dream Bundle,” then you’ll also need to use Clams to create the Enchanted Stage (x15 Clam | x13 Scallop | x35 Clay | x20 Hardwood).
Besides that, for any other Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe that calls for general use of seafood ingredients, you can use Clams as a substitute. All the more reason why you want to gather all you can on the shore.
