The caretaker is not the most straightforward character to find. If you want to get a hold of him to start some of Hogwarts Legacy‘s most vital quests, here’s what you have to do:
- Head to the Grand Staircase.
- Complete Gladwin Moon’s main story quest, “The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament.”
Psst! Players will learn the Alohomora spell during this quest, which unlocks doors.
- Unlock the new sidequest called after locating Gladwin in Hogwarts Legacy. Don’t worry. Once The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament is over, this one will begin automatically.
In this quest, you must locate Gladwin Moon in Hogwarts Legacy and find Demiguise statues that a prankster has scattered across the castle, Hogsmeade, and nearby locations. (Hi, Lumos spell). Find these tiny statues at night in Hogwarts Legacy. They are often hidden behind locked doors, which require the Alohomora spell to unlock.
Maybe you’ve already located Gladwin in Hogwarts Legacy but lost him during “The Man Behind the Moons” sidequest. Then, he will stand in the South Wing of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when you’re working on this side quest. A fast way to reach him is to use the Faculty Tower Floo Powder Flame near the South Wing.
