A white Mississippi woman was filmed accusing a black McDonald’s employee of stealing her money before directing a racial slur at the employee.
The video began after the incident was already underway. In the footage, the woman appeared to be speaking with a 911 dispatcher, saying, “They stole my money.” She then ended the call, walked up to the counter, and began cursing at the employees. As she continued looking through her phone, she suddenly moved closer to the counter and yelled, “Hello, I need my [expletive] food.”
The confrontation continued as the woman again directed profanity toward the employees. “Hello,” she shouted loudly once more. She then turned to the person recording and said, “These dumb [expletive]. They took my money. I was in the drive-thru. I tapped it.” She also alleged that after she paid for her order, the employees refused to give her her food.
The woman continued yelling at the employee and using profanity, insisting that she could prove the restaurant had taken her money. Throughout the confrontation, the employee remained behind the counter and kept her distance, apparently avoiding further escalation. The woman then continued cursing while extending her phone toward the employee, appearing to show the screen as evidence of her payment.
The woman and the employee then began shouting over one another as the woman again accused the employee of taking her money. The confrontation escalated further when the woman directed a racial slur at the black employee three times. She then slammed the door as she left the restaurant. As of now, it is unclear whether police later became involved or whether the woman returned to the restaurant.
Viewers Criticize Mississippi Woman Over Use of Racial Slur
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Mississippi woman over her use of a racial slur toward the employee. Several commenters also accused her of being racist because of her remarks. “These brain dead idiots always drop it as they are running away out the door,” one person wrote, referring to the woman using the slur before immediately leaving the restaurant. Another commenter said, “Sadly, nobody dropped her.”
Other viewers argued that no one should insult employees who are preparing their food. “I’ll never understand why people think it’s a good idea to insult someone that is making your food…,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “And love how once they start throwing slurs they usually also make a hasty retreat. Can’t let those consequences catch up to you now.”
The video sparked a conversation about how disagreements between customers and employees can sometimes escalate into the use of racist language. It also led to broader discussion about the importance of treating service workers with respect and addressing order problems without resorting to insults, threats, or discriminatory remarks.
