In Tears of the Kingdom you will meet a lot of characters, with some of them being new and others have returned from the previous game in the franchise. One of the new characters we meet for the first time in TotK is Mineru, The Sage of Spirit. She plays an important role in the story of Tears of the Kingdom and the importance of the role can be sensed because of the voice actor. Heather Gonzalez is the voice actress of Mineru in Tears of the Kingdom. She has been doing voiceovers for many games made by Japanese studios, including Honkai: Star Rail which was also released this year. Gonzalez also did the voice-over of Malaya’s character in Octopath Traveler II and Anisse in Fire Emblem: Engage.

She hasn’t done any acting job but has appeared as the English voice actor in many anime and animations. For instance, she is the English voice actor of Gloria Costello in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Kaori Takanashi in Talentless Nana. It seems she is one of the perfect choices for doing an English voice-over for a Japanese animation or video game.
