Riju is a wise and kind leader that inherited the throne of her tribe, Geurod after her mother passed away. While young in age, she has proven to be a good leader for the tribe by making wise decisions. Fans of the previous game are surely appreciative of seeing her again in Tears of the Kingdom.
The voice actress behind this interesting and unique character is Elizabeth Maxwell. She has an amazing career when it comes to voice-acting video games and anime. Her most important and well-known project is Attack on Titan where she did the voice of Ymir and Freckles. She also won the prize of BTVA People’s Choice Voice Acting Award for the Best Vocal Ensemble in an Anime for Attack on Titan.
Apart from that she was also nominated for the Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in Anime for BTVA Acting Award for her role as Sanae Kouzuki in Sakura Quest in 2018 and also in 2016 for Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie. Apart from that she also did the voice of Midnight in My Hero Academia, Arisa Uotani in Fruits Basket, and Halbet in Black Clover.

She also did some additional voices in Horizon Forbidden West and Lost Ark. Genshin Impact fans may recognize her voice from the Rosaria character in that game.
