Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are being a united front despite their marital troubles. The power couple, who shockingly revealed they had been separated for almost eight years, were seen at Coachella over the weekend. The pair were proud parents as their daughter, Willow Smith, took the stage at the music festival.
Will & Jada Pinkett Smith Lovingly Support Daughter At Coachella
Willow Smith took the stage with Jon Batiste for his Coachella set, and her parents were undoubtedly her biggest fans for the night. Proud mom Jada Pinkett shared photos from the eventful night on her Instagram while showering praise on her baby girl. “About last night @willowsmith @jonbatiste,” she captioned an Instagram Story update.
Jada also posted more photos on her timeline, including one of her and Will Smith interacting with Justin Bieber, a close friend of their son Jaden. The matriarch enjoyed a tight hug from Bieber while Will looked at them lovingly. Earlier in the day, Bieber and Jaden made headlines for being intimate in what many tagged a “cringe” moment.
For the festival, the Red Table Talk host donned a dramatic hooded overcoat with gold accents. She accessorized with a black cross bag and brown shoes. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor, however, opted for a more casual look comprising a t-shirt and sweats.
Willow wasn’t the only Smith family member who dominated the Coachella stage. In a surprise move, her dad, Will Smith, joined J Balvin to perform Men in Black and was dressed like his character James Darrell Edwards III (Agent J) for the show. The high-energy performance sent fans into a frenzy.
Are Will & Jada Pinkett Smith Still An Item?
While Jada and Will’s joint appearance at Coachella was heartwarming, many are still unsure about the state of their marriage. Recall that during the release of her best-selling memoir, Worthy, Jada made damning revelations about her marriage to the father of her kids. However, it seems the pair have vowed to be together until death does them apart.
Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed their unwavering commitment to each other during an interview with Daily Mail. According to the actress, the controversial 2022 Oscars slap involving her husband and Chris Rock saved their marriage. “I nearly didn’t even attend the Oscars that year, but I’m glad I did. I call it the “holy slap” now because so many positive things came after it,” she told the publication.
It seems the “holy slap” is still working wonders on the beloved famous couple!
