A Milwaukee, Wisconsin woman is drawing backlash online after allegedly using ChatGPT to fake evidence in order to receive a refund from DoorDash. In a now-viral video, she appeared to show how she altered a photo of fully cooked chicken to make it look raw before allegedly submitting it as part of a refund request.

The woman allegedly submitted the edited image of raw chicken to DoorDash as part of her refund request. At the end of the video, she shared a screenshot showing that $39.24 had been credited to her account, along with a message from the platform asking whether her issue had been resolved.

She added more details in the caption explaining why she faked the image. “Shout out to ChatGPT Cuz who [expletive] was they feeling like forgetting my carrots and ranch that I paid EXTRA for and had the nerve to send some cold [expletive] chicken yea ok!” she wrote. The post also showed a response from DoorDash that read, “oop should’ve blocked us!” It is not clear whether any further action was taken against her account following the incident.

Viewers Criticize Wisconsin Woman’s Actions

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers criticized the Wisconsin woman’s alleged actions. To them, it was dishonest or unethical to manipulate evidence for a refund from DoorDash. One person wrote, “This gets people fired btw,” while another simply said, “this is so weird.” Others were more supportive of her. “i dont understand how its weird to get 40$ of free food from a billion dollar company…,” one commenter argued.

More viewers criticized the woman’s alleged actions. They believed they could unfairly impact workers and businesses involved in the delivery process through DoorDash. One person wrote, “Hey don’t do this because it leaves a bad name for the stores & not only does the dasher have to take responsibility but also the workers making & packaging the food !” Others suggested it could affect platform policies in the future. One commenter said, “Now that you posted this, refunds are gonna be 90% more strict, thanks.” They were referring to the possibility that it might lead to stricter refund rules.

The woman’s alleged actions sparked significant criticism online. Many viewers expressed concern about fairness to workers and businesses, and sympathized with the restaurant.
