While TV viewers know Geralt of Rivia as Henry Cavill (and eventually Liam Hemsworth), gamers have known another actor in the role. The voice actor behind Geralt in The Witcher video game, Doug Cockle, has revealed on Twitter that he has prostate cancer (seen below). The 52-year-old actor encourages “men over 50” to get checked up. In the reveal, Doug Cockle responded to a Twitter page for prostate cancer research about the illness. The original post asked, “What on Earth is a prostate?!” The actor replied that he “had no idea.” He decided to get a “random check” and then discovered that he had “full blown prostate cancer.” He is currently undergoing treatment, and everything is “looking good so far.”
