A woman enjoying the “Happiest Place on Earth” in Anaheim, California, had one thematic drink and decided to consume the foam. While edible, she ended up inhaling it, leading to a scary and viral breathing struggle.
Mylee, who also goes by anaamyle, shared the moment on TikTok. She is a lifestyle content creator who often shares vlogs online, including concert and rave edits. The clip attached above became her biggest one ever. It garnered 3.1 million views, 380,300 likes, and close to 2,500 comments.
While at Oga’s Cantina in Disney California Adventure Park, the California woman ordered a Fuzzy Tauntaun, named after one of Star Wars’ many creatures. The drink is a fruity cocktail that is topped with “Buzzz” foam, which tingles when consumed.
Foam Mishap
After dancing excitedly, Mylee proceeded to drink the cocktail. She also consumed the foam, which was a mistake given what happened next. She burst into laughter, and, as a result, some of the foam entered her esophagus.
“If you didn’t know, that foam right there numbs your whole mouth. Literally feels like needles,” she narrated. “I would not recommend this. Not even to my worst enemy.”
With the tingling foam in her respiratory tract, Mylee started to have difficulty breathing. In her own words, her throat and lungs had “needles stabbing” her. A friend of hers brought some water, but the California woman didn’t drink it. Instead, she seemed to be about to vomit right before the clip ended.
“I hate that drink so much. Disney, what the heck?” she wrote in the clip’s description.
Social Media Reactions
Many viewers were on Mylee’s side, telling her she wasn’t in the wrong and that she should do something about it. One asked, “Why would they have that on a drink?!” Another one commented, “Girl, sue Disney. Get that check.”
Others, however, were more critical of her behavior. One wrote, “This is literally why they say don’t inhale the foam when they give you the drink.” Finally, some were worried about Mylee’s safety, with one user saying, “This is definitely a laryngospasm. Super scary. It’s happened to me before.”
Mylee later posted another clip eating a Grogu-themed dessert. Apparently, her cocktail episode didn’t last long.
