It has been almost two decades since Martha Stewart was romantically linked to anyone. While the homemaking maven is open to love, there are just some ways she is not willing to find it.
With just three episodes until the end of The Golden Bachelorette, many want Stewart to be the next golden lady. However, the entrepreneur shut down the idea during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She was joined by her best pal, Snoop Dogg and Seth Meyers. When asked if she would ever appear on the ABC reality show, the Martha Stewart Living founder answered, “Absolutely not.” Even when Andy Cohen threw in the idea of a $1 million or $10 million per episode payday, Stewart was still insistent. “The guys aren’t hot enough,” she said firmly, per Deadline. The convicted businesswoman had the backing of her BFF. Dogg added, “It’s not about the money; it’s about how hot the guys are. [Even] $10 million can’t get it if they don’t look right!”
ABC’s The Golden Bachelorette is currently underway, with Joan Vassos as the lead lady looking for love. The 61-year-old private school administrator was initially featured on The Golden Bachelor. However, she exited early due to a family emergency.
Martha Stewart Thinks A Boyfriend Is ‘Nice’ But It’s Not Her ‘Highest Priority’
Although Martha Stewart does not want to find love on a reality show, she is not opposed to having a life partner if he ticks her boxes. Last year, she dished on her dating challenges, admitting why she hasn’t been in a relationship in a while.
“I know a lot of eligible men. I think they really want a woman who will take care of them, so I’m still not quite in that position where I can take care of a man full-time because I work too much, and that’s my big problem.”
She continued to E! News, “I think the work has taken precedence over the romance. And I think a lot of people are in that position. I have a hard time making room for both and it’s not the highest priority that I have a boyfriend, but it would be nice.”
