WoW Patch Notes 10.1 – Niffen Renown Rewards
In WoW Patch Notes 10.1, Embers of Neltharion, World of Warcraft has disclosed the cosmetic and activity-based rewards players can acquire by gaining Renown with the Niffen faction. The cute mole people, or Niffen, offer players a range of practical yet charming in-game items to keep them engaged and entertained in the new WoW update.
WoW’s Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion, brings a lot of new content for players to enjoy, including a massive new Dragonflight zone called Zaralek Cavern and an Aberrus raid. Additionally, the patch introduces the Niffen, a new Renown faction from the Town of Loamm.
By earning Renown with the Niffen, players can unlock special rewards such as Shadowflame Crests and Flightstones, which help gear up for raids and Mythic+ dungeons, as well as fun activities like Snail Racing and Sniffenseeking. The new WoW update is now available on the WoW Public Test Realm; players can experience all the new features for themselves.
All the recent additions in the WoW patch notes were reported on Twitter, @Wowhead. These additions include cosmetic rewards available through Niffen Renown, Dragonflight Dragon Riding Customizations, armor sets, titles, a one-handed sword, an ax shaped like a shovel, and much more.
More importantly, in the Embers of Neltharion PTR, models for the Niffen Renown rewards were added, including a shalewing mount called Morsel Sniffer and beetle battle pets Pauli and Rango. While Morsel Sniffer can’t be used with Dragon Riding, it is still valuable for mount collectors.
