That’s why the new Wuthering Waves event has just arrived, in which players will get an exploration guide to complete Survey Tasks. The Pioneer Association is relying on the Resonators to patrol the Central Plains area to ensure the safety of its frequent visitors. As this is a time-limited event, active only until June 27, your role is crucial. So, make sure to take advantage of this; there are plenty of Astrites involved!
Wuthering Waves Exploration Event: Survey Tasks
During this event, players can earn up to 20 Survey Points by completing two random Survey Tasks assigned daily. Among the tasks players can get are:
- Upgrade any Weapon 1 time.
- Upgrade any Resonator 1 time.
- Consume any Potion 1 time.
- Defeat 5 Enemies.
- Obtain 1 piece of Raw Meat.
- Upgrade an Echo 1 time.
Players can also accumulate up to 140 Survey Points over five days, so they can take their time with the challenges. In the end, after completing the event, players will get the following rewards:
- x2 Malleable Elite Class Echo
- x30 Premium Sealed Tube
- x100 Premium Tuner
- x800 Astrite
Assignments will reset every day at 4:00 am on the server, but don’t worry if you miss a couple of days. Remember that it will be active until June 27.
How to Fix Missing Survey Tasks
Several users reported that they could not start the event no matter how many times they opened it and did Survey Tasks. Every time they wanted to start the activities, only the rewards on the right side appeared when they displayed the menu. You can fix this bug by simply restarting the game so that the tasks appear on the left side of the event menu. Unfortunately, some players continued to experience this issue despite closing their game. If this happens to you, close the game and log out of the Wuthering Waves launcher. Then, reopen the game and log in, and the two event tasks should appear as usual.
This exploration event is relatively easy and quick to complete; it won’t take you more than a couple of minutes to finish each Survey Task, which is ideal for those who can’t play Wuthering Waves for long sessions. This also makes it one of the most rewarding events, at least if you want to get those Astrites for the following limited-time characters of Version 1.1. As it says in its schedule, this update will arrive on June 27, 2024, so you will need as many materials as possible for the new Resonators.
