Country singer Wynonna Judd‘s life has been chaotic for the past few years. She has dealt with everything from her mom and singing partner Naomi Judd’s tragic suicide to her daughter’s recent multiple arrests. The No One Else On Earth hitmaker has been put to the test.
Wynonna Judd prides herself on being a strong woman, and her friends are there to reinforce that strength. Despite their concerns, they are doing all they can to help her keep it together, providing a reassuring support system for the singer, according to Closer sources.
Despite their efforts, Wynonna has more on her plate than she ever expected at age 60. Her pals see how difficult it is for her to keep it together. They fear that if something doesn’t change soon for the singer, she will likely spiral out of control. So many of her closest friends are doing all they can to help support her through these difficult times.
Dolly Parton Steps In To Guide Wynonna Judd Through Difficult Days
“People are very worried about Wynonna,” states the insider. Judd’s friends know that she is struggling through some tough times. She is still mourning the death of her mom, Naomi Judd, and between dealing with her daughter, Grace Kelley, and caring for her granddaughter, the stress is overwhelming at times.
Wynonna’s daughter Grace has been in and out of jail since 2017. Grace, 28, was arrested in April for public lewdness and again last month after attempting to elude a police officer and driving under a suspended/revoked license.
Grace’s troubles with the law have become too much for Wynonna to cope with. She has tried everything possible to help her daughter get on the right track, but nothing has worked.
For now, Wynonna Judd is raising her granddaughter Kaliyah, 2, and has taken on all of her parenting and financial responsibilities. She wants to ensure that her grandchild is well taken care of, but becoming a full-time mother again at 60 is alot.
Close family friend and country legend Dolly Parton is stepping up to let Wynonna Judd know she is there for her. “Dolly calls to give her pep talks,” says the insider. “Wynonna has a lot of friends in the country community, and she needs all the help she can get.”
Dolly Parton is taking on a lot these days herself. Not only is she helping Wynonna through her troubles, she is also playing therapist to singer Billy Ray Cyrus and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus. She hopes to reunite the singer with his family and guide Billy Ray through his dark and troubling times. So it seems Dolly is well on her way to becoming country music’s guardian angel.
