Yakuza: Like a Dragon is filled with a myriad of substories, all bringing players along wacky journeys that are sometimes questionable in nature. There’s a total of 52, so there’s definitely no shortage in them if you want a good laugh. One such substory is the Golden Opportunity substory, which you unlock rather early on in the game. It can be rather challenging to find and completely though. No worries as in this Yakuza: Like a Dragon guide, I’ll explain exactly how to find and complete the Golden Opportunity substory.
How to Complete the Golden Opportunity Substory in Yakuza
Before working through this substory, you’ll need to reach Chapter 3 in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Thankfully that doesn’t take too long. Once you reach that Chapter, head down south of Sakura River Street until you see a policeman talking to a woman. After speaking with them, leave the area and return once a text icon is shown on the map. Head there and you’ll see a group of men urinating into the river (exploring a golden opportunity, if you will). When the game asks you to choose which person is the culprit, you’ll want to select the man second from the right.
This will initiate a fight with the man, who utilizes high physical strength. This means you’ll have to use Yakuza’s extreme skills if you want to handle him quickly. Once you do, you’ll be awarded 1000 yen, character and job experience, Fine Grained Leather, Thick Skin, and Bearded Man Sujidex Information. After this, you’ll want to speak to the policeman again to claim your reward. Once done, you will have completed the Golden Opportunity substory in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
