Long before the release date of Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse showed several sneak peeks of various characters and factions. Members of Section 6, such as Miyabi, appeared in the demos and videos, and since then, players have been asking for her banner. It will be in the next version, 1.3 of Zenless Zone Zero, and according to leaks, until 1.4, we will finally interact more with Section 6. Starting with Yanagi, who is confirmed for the first phase as the first S-Rank playable character of this faction, and the Proxies will finally unite efforts with her co-workers, too.
So far, in the story of each patch, the Proxies must investigate a mystery that leads them to work with a particular faction. The last partners were Sons of Calydon, and for 1.3, it will be Section 6. However, this may continue until 1.4 because the leaks show that the following playable characters of Zenless Zone Zero will include Miyabi and Harumasa. The developers planned the story several updates in advance, so there might be no big changes in chronological order, although it comes just in time with the recent change in Miyabi’s 3D model. Also, HoYoverse already shared both characters’ drip marketing, and recent leaks point to Miyabi as an Anomaly/Ice Agent and Harumasa Attack/Electric.
Apparently, for 1.4, two new areas will also be available in New Eridu: Stage Port and Reverb Arena, which will be essential for the main story. Section 6 already has some small parts in the main story. But so far, it’s precisely Miyabi that has a significant connection, especially regarding the Old Capital and the Proxy’s past in Helios Academy. We will see if the head of Section 6 becomes an ally or if the problems of the past make her a dangerous enemy on behalf of the government.
