Zombie-Like Figure Caught Showering on New York City Train Tracks in Filthy Water: ‘Nah That’s Gotta Be a Zombie’

Someone should help him.

They say anything goes in the Big Apple, but seeing a zombie-like figure on crossing train tracks is highly bizarre — even in New York. Recent footage of the strange instance highlights whoever this was, they weren’t normal. It looks like something from a video game.

In the video, you can see the mysterious New York man making weird noises and panting while standing on the tracks. If you focus on the sound he’s making, you would swear that you are looking at a zombie. But the sound isn’t the only terrifying thing here. There’s also the fact that the guy was using the train’s filthy water to shower and wash his face. What’s even more haunting is the fact that even his movements look like that of a zombie. The cameraman tried to be kind and asked, “Yo you good?” It’s a nice gesture, but it was clear that the guy was far from good. Unfortunately, we don’t get to know what happens next. What I do hope though is to never come across something like this.

People Reacting to the New York Zombie

A lot of people believe that the New York figure was really a zombie. I mean, he was doing all the movements you would expect a zombie to do. This made someone write, “Nah that’s gotta be a zombie.” Others mocked the cameraman for asking the clearly unwell guy if he was good. “Only in nyc will you ask a zombie if he’s good,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “Dude is anything but good.” Aside from commenting on the good part, several kept claiming that the guy was definitely a zombie. One person even identified what kind he might be as they wrote, “THat’s a vomiter zombie. Keep your distance less you want to get infected.” Even an Instagram user wrote, “That’s a damn walker from walking dead.”

While I would like to believe that the guy on the New York train tracks is actually a zombie, some people had different explanations. “Clearly a sign of possession, you can even hear the demon making noises through him,” wrote one woman. No, thank you. I would like to keep believing that he is a zombie. Other explanations were claiming that he was definitely on drugs, with one example being “Must be on hell drugs tbh.” While the zombie comments kept going and people kept guessing what might be wrong with him, few people were praying that he would get help. “God help this mentally ill person,” one Redditor hoped. In all seriousness, I do hope that he would get some help and actual water to shower with.
