Amy Slaton’s divorce from her husband, Michael Halterman, has been difficult. It has left the TLC reality star learning to adjust to being a single mom of two young sons. During Season 4, Part B of 1000-Lb Sisters, fans will see how tough it has been on Amy. They will also learn that Tammy Slaton has helped Amy during some difficult times.
The Sun writes that Tammy is helping to raise Amy’s sons, Gage, 3, and Glenn, 1. Tammy is also loving every minute of it. She feels it gives her a great purpose and enjoys spending time with her nephews. But, most importantly, it provides Amy Slaton with a much-needed break.
Tammy Slaton stepping up to help out her 1000-Lb Sisters co-star Amy Slaton is also good therapy for Tammy. It keeps her busy and her mind off of the recent death of her late husband, Caleb Willingham. So they are each helping the other in their time of need.
Family Drama Kicks Into High Gear
There is also a lot of Slaton family drama taking place. Recent reports state that 1000-Lb Sisters‘ Tammy Slaton was forced to move into her brother Chris Combs’s home after a massive blow-up between herself and sister Amanda Halterman.
Tammy was renting Amanda’s house after her release from rehab. However, the two sisters have been at odds. Things recently got so out of control. During one of their arguments, Tammy Slaton was forced out of the home and now resides with Chris.
A source close to 1000-Lb Sisters production team claims the family fighting is at an all-time high. Of course, it all goes down in front of the TLC cameras. But the informant allegedly claims that as dramatic as Season 4 B of the family reality series is, Season 5 drama blows it away. It sounds like a crazy time for Tammy Slaton, her sister Amy Slaton, and their family. Hopefully, they can work through their problems before things escalate further.
