The prophesized day is finally upon us, Rockstar has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is ready to be shown off to rapidly aging fans at last. Players have been speculating for years about when the reveal might take place, and after much back and forth, we now know that GTA 6 will be revealed in early December of this year. There will be a trailer, though quite how much it will show is still uncertain. But fans have taken matters into their own hands, beating Rockstar to the punch, by making their own logos, artworks, and posters for GTA 6, some of which are quite impressive.
If you have gone online to get any information about GTA 6, you were probably inundated by a massive number of fake trailers, gameplay footage, release dates, and whatnot. But real die-hard fans of GTA have instead made striking logos and artwork that are inspired by the series and could even give Rockstar some solid ideas. Below are the top 5 logos and posters for GTA 6 that aren’t official, but do look awesome.
5. GTA 6 But More Like Vice City
This one is eerily reminiscent of GTA Vice City from yore. Anything neon and pink quickly avokes the same vibe as the classic from Rockstar. Plus, GTA 6 will likely be the first game in the series to introduce a playable female protagonist, so this is apt.
4. If GTA 6 Had Nico Bellic
Visually striking for anyone who played Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008. Nico Bellic’s adventure was not nearly as successful as its sequel but is still regarded as a masterpiece for the time by many. The game’s vibe was like no other and still holds up commendably to this day.
3. Inspired By GTA 5
GTA 5 has left a permanent mark on the series, if not the industry as a whole, and will continue to have its DNA in every future entry. And this artwork does exactly that. The official artwork has a very specific style, which has been mirrored here marvelously.
2. New Take On An Old Formula
The violet theme continues with this one, and the reflections are off the hook. The number also differentiates itself enough from its predecessor to have its own identity. The final game may or may not look like this but one thing is for sure, everyone will start calling it “GTA 6” and forego the Roman numerals.
1. A Fitting Refresh After a Decade-Long Wait
The GTA logo and style have remained consistent for a very long time, and this take on it keeps the most important parts while breathing new life into it. Again, the palm trees in the back evoke the same Vice City vibe, but without it looking like a rehash.
Fans are dying to finally get a glimpse of GTA 6 in action, if not in their hands. Artists continue to outdo themselves with creative designs and concepts that even Rockstar could get some ideas from. Rockstar will finally reveal its magnum opus, GTA 6, early next month, and will probably be released around late 2024 or early 2025.
One thing is for certain, whenever it does release, it will break records within a weak. Analysts expect it to cross $1 billion in sales within the first week.
