Palworld may be in Early Access, but that doesn’t mean the new hit survival-crafting game isn’t loaded with complexity that can take a while to get worked out by players familiar with and new to the genre. With that in mind, there are some Palworld advanced tips that many players, both new and even more veteran, may want to become familiar with to improve their game.
5. Don’t Be Afraid to Build High
Once the levels start stacking up, players may notice the radius allotted for any base running out of places to put all of the different machinery that’s available to craft and continue developing. Thankfully, a base in Palworld is far from limited by its horizontal space. Players are able to build up fairly high, creating layers where different machinery can be built and more Pals can be fit as the number of Pals that can be assigned to one base increases. Just make sure there’s enough overhead space for any larger Pals to maneuver around.
4. Build Near Ore
There are easy ways to get large amounts of raw resources like wood, stone, and Paldium fragments with buildable machinery at the player’s base, but the one raw resource that, as of right now, can be so easily farmed is ore. As the player increases in level, ore becomes an increasing necessity as ingot is essential for most late-stage machinery and weapons. With that in mind, a key Palworld tip is to build near a decent supply of ore. If there’s ore within the borders of the base, then Pals with mining abilities like Digitoise or Tombat can automatically harvest it when it’s available.
3. Pal Condensing
The Pal Essence Condenser is the best machine available in the game for players who are interested in creating the strongest Pals possible. It’s available fairly early on up the ancient technology tree, only requires one ancient technology point to unlock, and it allows multiple Pals to be condensed into a single Pal that gains a lot of power as a result. A Pal with max stars via the Pal Essence Condenser can be a force to be reckoned with, and a full five-star Pal battling team will likely become the norm once Pocketpair implements PvP into the game.
2. Pal Cooldowns
The battles within Palworld can range from fairly straightforward to incredibly challenging and require a lot of forward-thinking plans. A good Palworld advanced tip for those tougher fights is to remember that the player’s Pal cooldowns, specifically for mountable Pals, reset after the player dismounts. This means that the player can hop on a mountable Pal like Eikthyrdeer, use all of its available moves, and then dismount to allow Eikthyrdeer to use its whole moveset again before the time it would have been able to had the player remained mounted. This can allow a mountable Pal to have a lot more damage output than if it was left to its own devices.
1. World Settings With No Consequences
One of the most useful advanced Palworld tips to keep in mind for players who are trying to reach level 50 quickly is that the custom world settings for the game, as of right now, can be switched at effectively any time without consequences. If the player is far more interested in playing during the day than at night, just minimize daytime speed and max nighttime speed. If the player wants to blow through levels quickly or not have to worry about hunger so often, there are settings for that as well. It’s completely customizable to minimize anything an individual might consider particularly tedious about the game, and these settings can be changed even on already active worlds.
