Destroy All Humans, the 2020 edition, trailer has dropped. The trailer included your favorite alien cruising his way in his spaceship across American suburbia, blasting some Rammstein. The trailer showcases his mind control hack of the local news station bringing all of the local townsfolk to the drive-in. The trailer then shows Crypto the Alien disintegrating everyone with his laser from the spaceship. You can watch the trailer down below.

Destroy All Humans is expected to make a remastered release sometime in 2020. The cult classic debuted in 2005 on the PS2 and the original Xbox. The remaster, just like with 2005 original, takes place during a Cold War Era America. The main alien’s name is Crypto and is assigned to gather DNA from the human’s brain stems. The DNA is used to clone his species thus saving it from extinction. The other missions to the game include finding what happened to his previous clone and defeating Majestic, a member of the United States government. There was also the option to abduct some cows and eject them from the spaceship. The remaster will follow the same story as the original with updated looks and gameplay for the current generation of consoles.

The game will follow the 1950’s Americana style with big, long cars with whitewall tires, the classic drive-in with roller skating waitresses and waiters bring malts and milkshakes, and of course rock and roll music. There will be the news of Pro- American versus the evil Communism in the game as you pass by citizens just like from the original.

In 2013, Nordic Games acquired the rights from THQ for the Destroy All Humans series along with several other IP’s. In 2016, Nordic Games announced a port to the PS4 with updated 1080p graphics. Then later in 2018, the game made the way to the Xbox One console. The remaster was announced and has a set date for sometime in 2020 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One. The remaster is set to involve more feature content that was cut from the original game in 2005. Black Forest Games is the developer responsible for handling the remaster. Tell us what you think about the remaster for this cult classic from the Ps2!
