Announced by Nintendo Japan earlier this week, there is another new Nintendo Switch coming to the market. However, this adorable new Switch is a Japan-exclusive console, so prepare yourself now. In celebration of Disney’s Tsum-Tsum Festival, Nintendo made a console to match, and it is way cuter than you can even imagine.
Pictured above, the exclusive Switch bundle will come with bright pink and purple Joy-Cons; one of which has classic Mickey Mouse ears adorning the Home button. The Joy-Cons, dock and the Switch itself are covered in adorable little symbols and Tsum Tsum versions of some of your favorite Disney characters: Stitch, Pooh, Minne Mouse and Mickey Mouse.
As of right now, this Disney-themed Nintendo Switch bundle is set to release exclusively in Japan on October 10, 2019, alongside Tsum-Tsum Festival. The game inspired by the popular Disney franchise will include Switch-exclusive mini-games that can be enjoyed alone or with a friend. By turning the Nintendo Switch vertically, fans can also enjoy a classic mobile-style game of Tsum-Tsum.
Luckily for Nintendo fans, this exclusive console will have all the newly-announced bells and whistles. Earlier this month, Nintendo announced that they were drastically improving the battery life on their console. They basically doubled the playtime from around three hours up to a possible nine hours before having to charge it.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, there has been no news as to whether or not this Nintendo Switch will eventually be sold anywhere other than Japan. However, we do know that Tsum-Tsum Festival will eventually be sold in the US sometime this year, but an official release date has not been announced.
