It is time once again for another wacky outing from the minds of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Rick and Morty are back for another season! Returning on November 10, 2019, it’s time to gear up for another bout of madness. It has been a long time coming and fans are as excited as ever. However, with the renewal of the show back in 2018, there have been some concern. Namely, the renewal for another 70 episodes of the show. This has gotten fans concerned that the show will overstay its welcome. Stagnation comes for all of us, I guess.
The first five episodes of Rick and Morty will be premiering on Adult Swim with the other five to come. An interesting approach to airing the show, breaking them up into cores. It’s kind of like waiting for the other half of an anime after one core has aired. However, there has been some questioning as to whether the season will only have five episodes.
Rick and Morty Season 4 Timeline
Fans were first made aware of the fourth season of Rick and Morty back in 2018. As mentioned above, Adult Swim renewed the show for another 70 episodes. So, we’ve got plenty of intergalactic tomfooleries to come into the distant future.
After that, we had a great deal of silence surrounding the imminent fourth season. We were treated to some shorts with Mr. Poopy Butthole, but little else was known other than that writing was underway.
Finally, San Diego Comic-Con rolled around in July of this year, showing attendees a glimpse at an episode of the new season. But, us unlucky fans were taken pity on. Two images were shared on Twitter, keeping our hunger somewhat satiated.
Now, with this new promo-trailer, we can now get hyped for the incoming batch of episodes of our favorite genius and Morty.
Rick and Morty season 4 begins airing on November 10, 2019.
Looking forward to the new season? Slightly worried about the renewal? Let us know in the comments!
