Tales of Arise Where to Find Blistering Fang
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Realm Unifier is one of the most powerful weapons for Alphen in Tales of Arise and requires several hard-to-find materials, such as the Blistering Fang. The Realm Unifier sword features 550+ points for each stat, including a Penetration value of 554, making it an excellent weapon for staggering enemies in Tales of Arise. The Blistering Fang is an end-game resource, meaning players can only obtain it after they’ve reached the high-difficulty dungeon area, Rena. Additionally, players will need to have completed the quests “Another Hillside Anomaly” and “Spirit Temple” to craft the Realm Unifier. Read on to learn how to find Blistering Fang in Tales of Arise.

(Updated on July 29, 2024 – Fact-checked and clarified the process to obtain the materials).

Where to Find Blistering Fang in Tales of Arise

To obtain Blistering Fang in Tales of Arise, players must have reached The Otherworld. In particular, they must travel to the Lower Level of the Volcano of Renewal. To fast travel to The Otherworld, players can use the portal in the Earth Spirit Temple. Find and slay Furious Boars to get Blistering Fangs in Tales of Arise.

Players must also obtain the following materials to forge the Realm Unifier sword in Tales of Arise.

  • Iron Pipe x1
  • Ominous Eyeball x4
  • Cursed Claws x2

The Iron Pipe can be acquired during the Sub-Quest, “Mysterious Pair.” Speak to the Wonder Bard in Niez, Mahag Saar, to begin the quest. Both the rare claws and eyeballs can be found in Tarfhal Helgarahi. Within the area’s Lower Levels (1F), players must slay Astral Sloths and Astral Doubts to get the required materials.

Since you’ll be using Blistering Fangs to craft weapons for Alphen and Kisara, we recommend spending a bit of time in these locations until you get the necessary amount. If you have more than needed, you can always sell the leftovers to get some money. And while you might replace your new weapons in the future, having an expanded arsenal never hurts.
