DC has revealed the first trailer for Catwoman: Hunted, a new animated film “with an anime twist” starring Elizabeth Gillies (Dynasty, Vacation) as the famous feline anti-hero and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Lego Movie 2) as Batwoman. In the all-new original Catwoman: Hunted, Catwoman’s attempt to steal a priceless jewel puts her squarely in the crosshairs of both a powerful consortium of villains and the ever-resourceful Interpol, not to mention Batwoman. It might just be enough to contain her. Or not.”
Some other notable members of the stellar voice cast include Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Keith David as Tobias Whale, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, Lauren Cohan as Julia Pennyworth, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Cheetah, Zehra Fazal as Talia al Ghul and Nosferata, Kelly Hu as Cheshire, Jonathan Frakes as King Faraday and Boss Moxie, Andrew Kishino as Mr. Yakuza and Domino, Eric Lopez as Domino 1, Jacqueline Obradors as La Dama, and Ron Yuan as Doctor Tzin. The film is directed by Shinsuke Terasawa and written by Greg Weisman.
Catwoman: Hunted will release on February 8, 2022 via digital and Blu-ray. Alongside Catwoman: Hunted, DC will release three new animated movies throughout 2022 including Green Lantern: Beware My Power, Battle of the Super Sons, and Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse.
