The Moment of Bloom event is currently ongoing, and with that, you have a chance at rolling Hu Tao, Sayu, Diona or Thoma. Mainly, Thoma is the most recent character released on November 2. Alongside his release into Genshin Impact comes a new region, Tsurumi Island, and a brand-new ascension material. If you end up obtaining Thoma, you will also need Fluorescent Fungus to ascend him. By the end of this guide, you will learn where to get Fluorescent Fungus in Genshin Impact.
Where to Get Fluorescent Fungus in Genshin Impact
Fluorescent Fungus was introduced alongside Tsurumi Island in the latest Genshin Impact update. Tsurumi Island is the southernmost island in the Inazuma region, located southwest of Seirai Island. There is an abundance of fungus available for you to harvest on the island. However, it is located exclusively on Tsurumi Island. You will have the best luck finding Fluorescent Fungus near Shirikora Peak, Oina Beach and Mt. Kanna. The image above of the Genshin Impact interactive map provides a visual for the approximate locations of the fungus.
The fungus will appear as a glowing blue mushroom that you can interact with. During the night, they will glow in the dark, making them much easier to spot. However, you will need to speak to specific characters and complete certain quests before reaching the island. The island is also shrouded in a dense fog that you will need to clear before exploring around.
