Update: The team has officially added in the recommended PC system requirements for Elden Ring, which you can find below!

Original Story: Elden Ring releases in just two short weeks, with plenty of fans of the From Software games being over joyous regarding the team’s next debut title. There’s a lot of promise compared to some of the other titles they’ve made, including a full open world and plenty of its mechanics while still maintaining that classic combat style that games like Dark Souls are known for. Before you can even think about dropping into the world and playing though, you PC players out there need to know if you can run the game. Well you’re in luck because the team just put out the minimum PC system requirements for Elden Ring! You can find details on that below.

Elden Ring PC System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

OS: Windows 10/11
Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
Memory: 12GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 60 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

OS: Windows 10/11
Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
Memory: 16GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 8 GB
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 60 GB available space

Now if you’ve been here before and have seen some previous system requirements be posted, you may be left confused seeing as the recommended requirements are missing. You aren’t just missing something though, as From Software actually has yet to reveal what the recommended requirements are. When they do publish those on the Steam page, you can be sure we’ll update this article with the correct information.

As for what the team did give us today, the Elden Ring PC system requirements may seem quite high, but they actually make sense. This isn’t just a colossal game in scope, but it’s a beautiful game as well. Something like Elden Ring is going to need a fair bit of processing power to run well, so having an eighth-gen Intel processor and a 1060 adds up. Admittedly the RAM requirement of 12GB is a bit surprising, but it’s worth keeping a note of either way.

Elden Ring will release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on February 25.
