AMC debuted a trailer for The Walking Dead season 11, part 3, giving eager fans a peek at the upcoming series finale. The trailer was released at a The Walking Dead panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. It shows the group as they come together for one last final mission. The new video begins with a small timelapse from the previous season. Then, the trailer cuts to new footage, showing the surviving characters as they get to the end of the series.

The Walking Dead’s 11th and final season first started on August 15th, 2021. While the initial set of episodes had characters going to the Reapers, everything was finished by the end of part 2. Now, the series’ remaining episodes focus on the conflicts between the Hilltop and Alexandria. As hinted at in the previous seasons, the Commonwealth is expected to make an appearance for a climactic ending.
However, fans are having a hard time pinning just where the end of The Walking Dead will leave characters. Many characters that made it to the end of Robert Kirkman’s comic series of the same name are no longer in the show. This also has to be taken into account that some characters that die in the comics are also still alive in the show. So, with the end coming near, many wonder if the show can stick the same landing as the comic series.
“The Walking Dead” Season 11: Branching Off to Different Paths
However the show finds its end, fans can still be able to watch most of their favorite walker-fighting characters. Besides Fear the Walking Dead, AMX has also planned an anthology series titled Tales from the Walking Dead. There will also be a spinoff called Isle of the Dead. So far, we know the series revolves around Lauren Cohan’s Maggie Rhee and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan.
The Walking Dead season 11, part 3, premieres on AMC on October 2nd.
