Minecraft provides two versions of the game, Bedrock and Java Edition. While both might look the same, each version has quite a lot of differences behind the scene, especially when it comes to in-game structure generations. For you who are playing the older Java version, here are some of the best Minecraft Java Edition 1.19 seeds for August 2022.
1. Huge Cave Near Spawn Seed

2. Large Mushroom Islands with a Variety of Biomes Seed

Reddit user u/ForTheCrows found a rather interesting plot of islands; near various biomes, you can find three Mushroom Islands as well as Ocean Monuments in the sea areas around them. You can locate one of the islands by going to X:4,500 Y: -3,000 coordinates.
3. Huge Village Seed

In case you’re looking for a populated Village for proper roleplaying, this seed from u/dominq can be a good option. You can find the Village over at X: -352 Z: -336 coordinates.
4. Ancient City with Mineshaft Seed
- Seed: 4189766944005904899
Mineshaft is still a popular place to look for loot, but this seed spawns you near one with an Ancient City in it. For that reason, you have to watch out for the Warden if you don’t want to get your butt whooped while spelunking. Head to 189, -27, 179 coordinates to find it.
5. Huge Volcano Seed
- Seed: 8558586801590466399
Behind your spawn point at X: 179 Z: -446 coordinate you can find a huge mountain range. Then at X: 168 Y: -51 Z: -216 you can find an Ancient City. Filled with scenic mountain views, this is definitely the best Java Minecraft 1.19 seed in this August 2022 seed list for roleplayers and enthusiastic builders.
6. Sinkhole Mansion Seed

Another gorgeous view thanks to Minecraft‘s upgraded terrain generation system. At the X: 714 Z: -676 Mansion seen above, you can see a huge sinkhole very nearby. If you venture around the area, you will also find a couple of Witch’ Huts and Villages to explore.
7. Allay Woodland Mansion Seed
- Seed: -702411727950161736
Finding Allays to make an Allay farm could prove to be a rather difficult task, but not anymore thanks to this August 2022 Minecraft 1.19 Java Edition seed. Go to the 229, 97, 476 coordinate for the Allay cage and a Mansion near your spawn and you’re set for life.
8. Lonely Island Seed
- Seed: -180712982499944018
We need something that can cool us off in this summer heat; at least mentally by looking at inviting waters on your gaming screen. What would be better than wasting some time on your very own lonely island? Credit goes to u/Heliozz0. This seed works for both Bedrock and Java Edition.
9. Scenic Snowy Village Seed
- Seed: -2389457811431121472
This one is from YouTuber Minecraft & Chill’s collection, credited to @gaspoweredpick. This seed features a unique Village on top of a very scenic snowy mountain and also works on the Bedrock Edition.
10. Mountain Cliffs
- Seed: 883950225
The last one is from u/MarthrynCO. You start off on a tiny desert biome encircled by a large badlands mountain with a lake in it. There are other biomes around, as well as cliffs that descend into a bigger pool. A nearby savanna Village at -379, 120, 200 coordinates and caverns are both open for exploration.
