It provides a new storyline called “Shadows of Rose” and a unique character and third-person mode for the main storyline.
The Stroy Expansion lets players play as the character Rosemary Winters. She is a young girl who seeks a cure for her supernatural powers. The Puzzle starts when the character enters the Beneviento mansion section, and you need to find a pair of scissors to cut through the Teddy Bear to find the missing part of the Door Lock called “Relief of a Child.” Once you find the missing piece needed, you must solve the Doll Puzzle to progress through the game.
How to Solve The Doll Puzzle in Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose
To solve the Doll Puzzle in Resident Evil Village, you need to find four Dolls and place them in three puzzles. Here are the steps you need to follow to solve this Puzzle.
Puzzle 1
- Grab the first Doll Lucy from the Table in the Workshop.
- Go to the Door with the lock “Relief of a Child” and open it using the missing piece you found from the Teddy Bear. Inside the Room, You will find the Doll “Catherine” on the top of the Table.
- Go back to the Workshop and place Lucy and Catherine on Correct Pedestals. It is easy since their names are on the Pedestals. It will open the Drawer in the Table, and you will find a Red key.
Puzzle 2
- Grab the Key and two Dolls and go to the Red door on the left side. It has ” Jimmys’ Room” On it.
- Open the Door and go down the stairs. You will find a well at the end of the path.
- Go down the Well, and find the third Doll, “Jimmy,” at the bottom.
- Go back to the Room where you grabbed “Catherine” previously and go to the Doll post on the Table.
- Put Jimmy on the pedestal with the present and Cathering on the Right pedestal on the Table. Place Lucy on the remaining high pedestal.
- Then the Drawer opens with a new Doll grab it and other dolls.

Puzzle 3
- Go to the Room where you picked Lucy, and you will see the main Puzzle on the Table.
- Place Lucy on a pedestal where its name on it. The one pedestal without a Label is for Balck haired doll. Place Catherine on the pedestal near the Right of the Campfire and jimmy on the left.
- Once you have done that, the Campfire will be lit, and you have completed the Puzzle.
