Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Make a Gingerbread House

In order to make a Gingerbread House, you’ll need more than just food ingredients. You will need:

  • 1 Coal Ore
  • 1 Wheat
  • 1 Ginger
  • 1 Sugarcane
  • 1 Vanilla
  • 1 Egg

You can get Eggs easily, as they can be purchased from Chez Remy’s restaurant in the Pantry section. They cost 220 Coins each. To get wheat, you can either grow it yourself or purchase it from a Goofy Stall. Sugarcane can be obtained in the same way that wheat can. If you want to grow them, the seeds for both can also be purchased from Goofy’s Stalls.

To obtain Ginger and Vanilla, you’ll have to do some searching around. These two items can only be foraged, meaning you cannot grow them yourself or buy them from Goofy Stalls or Chez Remy’s Restaurant. Vanilla can be found in the form of tall, skinny green plants growing around the Sunlit Plateau. Ginger can be found in the same form as vanilla but in the Forgotten Lands biome.

If you take along one of the friends you’ve made in Dreamlight Valley that boosts foraging skills, you might be able to pick up some extra Vanilla and Ginger as well. This would make your foraging trip much more worth it!

Once you’ve collected all your food ingredients and Coal Ore, you simply need to combine them all at a cooking station, and you will have made yourself a Gingerbread House!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
