While the default apparel of Luffy and his rambunctious team of pirates in One Piece Odyssey is appealing enough to get through the main story, some players may want to change their favorite characters’ Outfits to add some flair to the experience. For those unaware, just like skins in online co-op or competitive multiplayer games, Outfits in One Piece Odyssey can change the appearance of the game’s playable cast. Of course, Luffy and his crew members will not have their abilities changed, as the change in apparel is only for cosmetic purposes. Nevertheless, seeing one’s favorite One Piece characters don different fashions is undoubtedly a feature any fan would want.

Luffy Change Outfit Tent in One Piece Odyssey

To change Outfits in One Piece Odyssey, players must visit a Camp or Tavern in the world. Camps are indicated by the tent icon and are spots where Luffy’s crew can rest, while Taverns are more static, as they can only be found in certain townlets. Users will need to progress through the story to reach their first Camp.

According to sources at PC Gamer, after completing the first dungeon in One Piece Odyssey, players will be introduced to the Camp mechanic, where Luffy and his friends can eat food for buffs. Players can also browse the encyclopedia to stay up to date on creatures, items, characters, and other objects of the environment. If players approach the green triangular tent at the campsite, they will receive a pop-up prompt asking if they would like to change Outfits in One Piece Odyssey. Choosing yes will then open a menu where fans can pick their favorite styles for the characters.

In this menu, players will be given a long dropdown list of all the Outfits they own for their characters in One Piece Odyssey. Those who pre-purchased the game or bought the Deluxe Edition should have access to costumes that normal users do not. As of January 14, 2023, there is no news as to if the cast will receive new Outfit DLCs in the future, similar to a JRPG like Tales of Arise. Whatever the case, having multiple styles for each character does not affect gameplay but will give those who appreciate variety a unique roleplaying experience when going through the main campaign.

One Piece Odyssey is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
