Gold Saucer is a vast amusement park where you can relax and enjoy a wide range of activities: Chocobo racing and breeding, mini-games, such as Triple-Tiad -which some of you may remember from Final Fantasy VIII-, Cacpot and Mini Cactpot lottery, GATE events, Crystal Tower Striker, Monster Toss, and many more.
Participating in these activities will earn MGP, a unique type of currency that you can use to exchange for new items, mounts, and minions.
I guess you see where I’m headed, right? One of them is the brand-new minion: Mama Automaton in FFXIV.
How does the Mama Automaton minion look?
This nier-related minion is something that people have been looking forward to for a long time.
Its description reads:
This diminutive automaton had a Wandering Minstrel. It is said to be modeled after a mysterious preacher called Mama, who guided a lone girl while pursuing thousands of stories and millions of dreams. Or something.
The hidden text on the patch says, “You OK? Make sure you’re not going overboard.”
Mama is a huge minion. If you compare side-by-side with your character, you’ll notice it’s bigger than your entire head, maybe even part of your torso.
