After crafting a Dreamlight Prism during Olaf’s Story Quest, “The Great Blizzard,” your next task inย Disney Dreamlight Valley will be to “Figure out which Gems are missing in the Secret Chamber” to solve the puzzle. This objective refers to the two lines of three small pillars, each with a gemstone of a different color. By default, three Gems are already placed for you: a Topaz and Ruby on the left and an Auqamarine on the right. To activate the Dreamlight Prism you have crafted, you will need to discover the remaining three Gems required to progress “The Great Blizzard” questย inย Disney Dreamlight Valley.ย
To solve the Secret Chamber Gem Puzzle during “The Great Blizzard” inย Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must collect an orange Citrine, a green Emerald, and a purple Amethyst. It should be noted that none of the requiredย Dreamlight Valleyย Gems in this quest require theirย rare Shiny counterparts, so you do not need to worry about farming Shinies.
Citrine is a Gem that can be mined from mineral deposits found in the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau. Like any gemstone, there is no guarantee that a Gem Rock will drop Citrine. However, if you encounter a deposit with orange crystals sticking out of its surface, you can be certain that you will receive one or more Citrines from mining it. The second Gem you will need for the Secret Chamber Gem Puzzle inย Dreamlight Valleyย is a green Emerald.
Emeralds can be mined from Gem Rocks found in the Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor. If you do not wish to physically check every single mineral deposit for green gemstone chunks, consider using the free-camera Furniture Mode to conveniently scan the biomes. Finally, purple Amethysts can be acquired from Gem Rocks in the Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands. Once you have obtained at least one of the three Gems needed for the quest, return to the Secret Chamber and place them in the following order:
- Place the Citrine between the Ruby and Topaz.
- Place the Emerald on the pedestal opposite the Topaz.
- Place the Amethyst on the pedestal opposite the Ruby.
