Sons of the Forest features loads of dark, creepy, and terrifying caves, as well as some now-abandoned bunkers that were once luxurious and comfortable. There’s one big problem that stands between you and some of these areas, though, and it’s in the form of keycards. The most important areas require you to have a keycard to gain access to them, but sometimes, the keycard locations in Sons of the Forest are pretty easy to miss. Luckily, we can point you in the right direction.
All Keycard Locations in Sons of the Forest
As of right now, there are three Keycard locations in Sons of the Forest that you need to know. The first of these is the Keycard found in the Maintenance A Bunker. You can find the Maintenance A Bunker toward the Northern portion of the map, hidden below some dirt. Be sure to bring a shovel with you to get inside.
Once you’ve cleared away the hatch and made your way inside, head down the hallway until you reach the room off to the right. Head over to the desk containing the 3D Printer, and you will find the Keycard sitting to the right of it.
After you’ve grabbed the first keycard, the location of the second one will light up on your map at the site of the Food and Dining Bunker. However, getting to the VIP Keycard location takes quite a bit longer than the first one did.
- Climb through the hole in the rock outside the Food and Dining Bunker.
- Follow the cave to the bunker hatch, then open it and climb down.
- Access the door at the opposite side of the room using your Maintenance A Bunker Keycard.
- Pass through each room until you reach a staircase, then traverse the underwater rooms until you come across a door on the left side of a dimly lit hallway. Head through the door.
- Inside the room, you’ll see two desks. The VIP Keycard location is on the desk with the four computer monitors.
To find the final keycard location in Sons of the Forest, you’ll need to venture into the Entertainment Bunker, which can be found at the location shown above. To get there, you’ll spend quite a bit more time navigating this massive bunker than the previous two.
- Head inside the Entertainment bunker through the cave-like entrance.
- Follow the hallways that lead up to the room with a purple-lit gym in the back corner.
- When you reach the gym area, turn left and head through the door to the large staircase.
- Head up the stairs and to the left, where you’ll find a keycard door that is locked. Use the keycard you already picked up in a previous bunker to get through the door.
- Once you’re inside, follow the main room all the way to the back, past the body with a guitar shoved down its throat, and you will find the keycard on a table surrounded by bodies.
