In Arcane Odyssey, a Roblox game, you are an adventurer who travels a perilous world using ships and faces off powerful foes using swords and magic. As a brave adventurer, it’s up to you to build up your reputation or Renown; you can gain Fame by doing good deeds or finishing quests, but you can also get Bounty by doing bad things. How to Get and Clear Bounty – Arcane Odyssey Roblox
Bounty Renown can be increased through completing specific Quests and doing various heinous acts, such as:
- Opening Private Storage Chests: Raises Bounty by 30.
- Killing Players: Raises 50 Bounty by killing someone with Fame or other players that also have a Bounty.
- Bounty Hunting (Taking Wanted Posters): Take 80% of the target’s Renown (Fame/Bounty) and converts it into your own.
- This means if you have a Bounty and finished a Contract against a Fame player, then the target loses 80% of their Fame, and you gain 80% of their Bounty.
- Grand Navy players who defeat criminal players or NPCs are credited with 1/5 of the normal Renown obtained from hunting if they weren’t hunting the criminal.
- Freeing Prisoners: Raises Bounty by 1,000 points.
Unfortunately, while feared, becoming someone infamous also comes with its drawbacks. Players with a Bounty cannot do these activities:
- Cannot buy Cargo and has to steal instead, which gives Bounty, but you’ll acquire the item for free.
- Cannot sell Cargo or open Sealed Chests at regular Shipwrights. Players with Bounty will have to look for Neutral or Criminal Shipwrights in other locations.
- Cannot shop at regular Shopkeepers. Can only purchase goods from Criminal Shopkeepers.
- You will also be executed after serving jail time if you have 50,000 Bounty or more.
Thankfully, you can clear your Bounty in Arcane Odyssey Roblox. First, you must go to Whitesummit Mountain and head inside Red Corner. There, you can speak to the NPC of the Assassin Syndicate, John Vasquez, and pay 50 Galleons to clear your Bounty and gives you back the Neutral Renown title. Keep in mind that unless you are a member of the Assassin Syndicate or have a high enough Bounty, then be prepared to handle a huge “welcoming party” on your hand.
Other than that, doing “combat logging” (logging off the game while in combat) can reduce 1,700 Bounty but you’ll have to pay quite a bit of Galleon when you come back.
How to Get and Clear Fame – Arcane Odyssey Roblox
Meanwhile, here’s how you can increase your Fame Renown, alongside completing specific Quests:
- Killing Players: Raises 50 Fame by killing someone with Bounty.
- Bounty Hunting (Taking Wanted Posters): Take 80% of the target’s Renown (Fame/Bounty) and converts it into your own.
- This means if you have a Fame and finished a Contract against a Bounty player, then the target loses 80% of their Bounty, and you gain 80% of their Fame.

To clear your Fame, you will need to head to the Grand Navy headquarters in Silverhold Island. Then talk to the Scott Baldwin NPC and pay 50 Galleons. You can also reduce 100 points of Fame by opening Private Storage Chests if you’re not a criminal yet or freeing prisoners who will take a minimum of 5,000 points or 5% of your Fame if you have more. Combat logging can also reduce 1,700 of your Fame.
Do note that Arcane Odyssey developer Vetex said that Fame/Bounty points for all players will be reset. The Renown system will be tweaked once the game is out of Early Access, so you might not want to waste a lot of time maintaining your Renown for now.
